Wimbledon 2024 is underway, with some of the world tennis’ biggest stars competing for both the title and prize money. The two Grand Slam champions at Wimbledon 2024 are set to earn a remarkable £2,700,000 each. This prize is a 14.9 percent increase compared to what Carlos Alcaraz and unseeded Czech player Marketa Vondrousova received in 2023.
The runner-ups will also benefit from a generous prize of £1,400,000, a 19.1 percent increase from last year’s award. This boost is intended to ease the disappointment of not clinching the title.
The All England Club continues to offer record-breaking prize money, with the total fund for Wimbledon 2024 reaching £50,000,000.
