We want people who can write, edit, write, and edit some more!
We’re on the lookout for writers and editors for the Beijinger, Jingkids International, and other TRM projects who have something to share with or about the capital community – those with the right stuff should know the city like the back of their hand and have a finger on the latest news, happenings, and everything in between going down in Beijing and greater China, especially if you’re able to do it in multiple languages.
Ideal candidates will need:
- Good knowledge of Beijing and China, as well as all the latest goings-on, and an outgoing lifestyle to keep in touch with happenings around the city and country
- A fun, adaptable writing style
- A proven track record of meeting deadlines
- Native (or near-native) English writing skills
We would also prefer if you have:
- Experience writing food and beverage review articles, particularly for print publications
- Solid knowledge of lifestyle trends and topics
- Some spoken Chinese
- Some Chinese reading ability
Beyond this, we are looking for a variety of writers, editors and translators. In particular, we are seeking:
- Native English writers and editors
- Native Chinese writers and editors
- Native Korean writers and editors
We are also looking for translators who can efficiently translate:
- From English to Chinese
- From Chinese to English
- From English to Korean
- From Korean to English
