It’s time for another year if in-universe military celebration and real-world attempts to sell Star Citizen to the faithful and yet-to-be-indoctrinated. Invictus Launch Week is coming back again, slated to run between May 15th and 27th with a free fly offer in tow.
The event will showcase several ship manufacturers , let players temporarily try out their various vehicles, allow players to wander around inside of an Idris, and offer a free-to-play mode for everyone during the run of the event.
The show will also be a way to showcase all-new spaceships, including the MISC Starlancer TAC. As its name implies, the TAC is a more military-minded version of the Starlancer hauler, trading out cargo space for troop transport seating, vehicle bays, and bigger guns in the form of remote turrets, player-managed turrets, and missiles.
