HYDERABAD: Public parks are becoming popular spots for remote workers, freelancers and students. Many people, who used to work from cybercafés or co-working spaces, are now choosing parks because they are free and the ambience provides a peaceful environment that is extremely motivational.
Surrounded by cafés and eateries, this space has a free entry apart from a landscape that boasts of natural settings with trees and rocks.
Speaking to Deccan Chronicle, freelance UX UI designer Ande Varun said, “We are in 2025. Sitting in one place and working from there is a sickening thought. People in creative fields should be able to work from anywhere. We have technology to help us to stay connected. I work with more than five companies as a freelancer. I can proudly say that I earn more than what a designer working in one company draws. An additional incentive is that it is fun to work outside an office space.”
A senior software engineer, Meda Ravali said, “Every Monday and Friday, I prefer to work from a park, while on the other three working days of the week, I go to the office. It’s refreshing. I’m not the only one. Many students also gather here to study. It is a good option to work in a different environment.”
