Artificial intelligence has come to stay in the automotive sector, and Peugeot has just revealed that ChatGPT is now available in all models of the French brand, in 17 markets and 12 different languages.
The French manufacturer pointed out that starting this Wednesday, in the brand’s main European markets: Germany, Austria, Spain, France, Italy, Portugal, and the United Kingdom, ChatGPT will be available for both new vehicles and customers of existing models, being provided through “over the air” updates, without the need to visit a dealership.
By the end of July, the new artificial intelligence technology will reach the markets of Denmark, Ireland, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Poland, and the Czech Republic.
The well-known generative artificial intelligence system is integrated into the i-Cockpit, through the voice assistant “ok Peugeot”, and is capable of answering numerous questions and requests on various topics.
The generative artificial intelligence can both answer specific questions and mention which monuments to visit in a city, present them, and guide drivers to them, in a coordinated process with the navigation system.
ChatGPT is available as part of the Connect Plus package or, for customers who purchased their car before its introduction, as an on-demand feature.
