The marketer and business owner sat down with her budding little entrepreneur to hatch a plan as to how she could earn the income to afford a plane ticket.
The business partners from rural North Carolina established an egg company—with a twist—and a video showcasing their marketing efforts has now amassed 1.5 million views on TikTok.
Wilson told Newsweek: “So I made the video because I was like… ‘wow, she is really at school and I’m doing all of this for her so she can reach her goal’… it was a comical situation.
“The whole thing just took off because people were inspired by her motivation and her detailed research.

“That led to multiple orders in just a few hours, and we only have four chickens, which is one egg per day per chicken, taking three days to make just one dozen.
“So that led to a waitlist and ultimately led to me putting this all together while she was at school.”
The mom detailed how they embarked on their business goal. First, they wanted to find an egg carton that stood out from other cartons. After a few hours of browsing, they found a square and clear carton that caught the eye.
Next, they had to come up with a name, opting for ‘Emmy’s Best Eggs,’ and a label design to go with it
The mom added: “Her favorite color is purple but she wanted to catch the eye of her targeted audience.
“She then Googled ‘favorite color for women across America’, she did this on her own, without my direction, and the color ended up being purple… go figure!
“So I printed labels, stuck them to the containers and went straight to Facebook.”
Amazingly, the nine-year-old is now making passive income.
The mom added: “She gets the money while I do the work, I’m her mother so I’m more than willing, and she has currently earned half of the cost for a plane ticket.”
Emmy’s eggs cost $5 per dozen, and return customers get $1 off if they return with the same egg carton.

The mom revealed she marketed too hard on Facebook and she now has a waiting list. With four chickens that lay one egg a day, it takes three days to get a dozen.
The mom added: “People just love it and have supported her completely. There are even some that have just given her money to reach her goal or paid extra for their eggs.
“The community here is just overjoyed that she has such a drive and an awesome personal goal that will help her see more than just the small town she is living in.”
Her daughter is only two to three months away from securing her ticket to the Big Apple and her dream of seeing the Statue of Liberty in real life.
Emma is clearly following in her mom’s business-minded footsteps, as Wilson owns a spay tan and marketing company.
She added: “I have wanted to show my daughter that it’s possible to be successful in more ways than the typical American way, and I guess she finally understands that. I am one proud mama!”
