NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) – Thursday night kicked off night one of the preliminary competitions for the Miss Nebraska and Miss Nebraska’s Most Outstanding Teen Competition.
Half of the field for the Miss and the Most Outstanding Teen Competition participated in the interview questionnaire. This portion of the competition is for the competitors to talk about issues relating to their community service outreach projects.
The competitors then showed off their fitness skills and various talents. Singing, dancing, piano playing, and even poetry telling well all part of night one. The night closed with learning more about the contestants during the evening wear portion of the night.
Night two of the Miss Nebraska competition is set for June 7 at 6:30 p.m. at the North Platte High School Performing Arts Center. Competitors will participate in different events from the prior night.
