Singer and producer MC Mong has expressed his determination to work with the new girl group BADVILLAIN. On 20th May KST, MC Mong said, “I will now greet you as producer ‘Villain36’. I plan to pour everything I have into creating an amazing team with the necessary members and staff.”
He added, “I have no interest in those who see artists merely as money-making tools,” highlighting his distinct philosophy.
BADVILLAIN is a seven-member girl group under Big Planet Made Entertainment, set to make their official debut in the first half of the year.
The group consists of visually and technically gifted members: Emma from Mnet’s ‘Street Woman Fighter’, Chloe Young from the dance crew 1MILLION, Hu’e and Yunseo from MBC’s ‘My Teenage Girls’, and the secret weapons Kelly, Ina, and Vin. They are being touted as a ‘complete all-rounder group’.
In December of last year, MC Mong co-founded ONE HUNDRED, the parent company of Big Planet Made Entertainment, with p_Arc Group Chairman Cha Gawon.
Upon its official launch, ONE HUNDRED expressed its ambition to establish itself as a command center by recruiting talent for producing and content creation.
