NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) – Three local gymnastics teams set to represent North Platte and the surrounding areas at regional competition in the month of April. Regional competition for Nebraska athletes will take place with seven states competing in Region Four. Regional competitors qualified thanks to strong finishes in state competition a couple weeks ago.
Regionals will feature two programs Developmental and Xcel. The Developmental Regional competition will take place April 12 to April 14 in Bettendorf, Iowa. The Xcel Regional competition will take place in Cedar Rapids, Iowa April 19 to April 21.
