BLUEFIELD, W.Va. (WVVA) -Frida at Bowen field, players of all shapes and sizes hit the diamond to compete and show off their baseball skills.
The Bluefield Ridge Runners, through Major League Baseball hosted its first annual Pitch, Hit and Run competition.
Kids ranging from age seven to fourteen, more than one hundred kids came out and their skills.
The eight winners qualify for the district team and move onto play during the World Series.

“Well just learning how we are supposed o throw the ball the right way and pitching. That’s fun, I like pitching, gotta get better at that (laughs) >
