Creative UK, the non-profit organisation that supports the creative industries, has outlined its vision for the government’s so-called ’freelance champion’, a role that will be tasked with representing the rights of freelancers who have historically fallen between the gaps of government policy. The incoming creative freelance champion must “strengthen” the voice of those outside of traditional salaried roles in government, a Creative UK report has said.
