ChatGPT Update: In a major upgrade, OpenAI has launched a new update for its signature Large Language Model (LLM) chatbot, Chat GPT, on Thursday. The new update is announced after Open AI unveiled GPT-4o earlier this week.

According to Open AI, ChatGPT users will now be able to import files from Google Drive and Microsoft OneDrive. With the integration of this new feature, Chat GPT will now be able to understand and analyze Google Sheets, Docs, Slides and Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. GPT will analyze the Python codes of the uploaded files to understand the data.

The new update in ChatGPT will only be available to paid Team and Enterprise users of Chat GPT Plus. The update will be available on GPT-4o and older models in the coming weeks.

ChatGPT Upgrade: What’s New?

With the new update in ChatGPT, the AI-generated chatbox will be able to perform diverse tasks for the users.

ChatGPT will now be able to analyse the datasets in the form of interactive tables from the uploaded data from Google Drive and Mirosoft One Drive. It will be able to analyze the specific rows and columns of the Excel sheets. In presentation, it can create bar, pie, line and plot charts.

Users can access the new feature by clicking the paper clip icon present in the ChatGPT box.

Collaboration With Reddit

Open AI has also collaborated with Reddit in an effort to enhance AI’s usage across multiple platforms. Now Reddit’s content will also be accessible to Chat GPT users. It will benefit users to discover and engage with Reddit communities. This collaboration will benefit both platforms, as AI features will also be available to Reddit users. Moreover, Open AI will become a Reddit advertising partner.
