A SCHOOLBOY used his birthday money to launch a clothing brand – and is already raking in thousands of pounds, his dad says.
William Adams, 15, launched his fashion brand Fezaris just four days ago.
The savvy youngster negotiated deals with clients in Portugal from his bedroom and used his £3,000 in savings to order stock.
Now his business, which is registered in his dad’s name as William isn’t old enough, is selling £1,000 worth of t-shirts, hoodies and beanies a day.
WORK EXPERIENCE
William, from Worcester, initially wanted to do work experience with a leisurewear company over Christmas.
But when they said no he decided to make his own brand.
He’s created his own website, attracted a following on TikTok and arranged the manufacturing of the clothing all from his parents house – and has now sold 304 pieces.
His dad Tom, 43, who also owns his own business, a stonemasonry firm, said: “The clothing he’s done is very simple, but now he’s getting the funds coming in he can do some more designs.
“He’s created it from his bedroom. He’s been sat in his bedroom creating things and trying to find suppliers. He launched it on his birthday.
“To our surprise all these orders kept coming through, I think he has an audience through TikTok.
“He’s generated a £1,000 on the first day, then £900 and then £800.
“He’s sort of designed streetwear. He started designing hoodies and t-shirts. We’ve got a few products that we’re designing and launching. We wanted to launch it and see if we can generate any progress.
“I’d come home from work and he’d be on the phone to suppliers in Portugal negotiating rates.
“He kept it really quiet, he didn’t tell his friends. He just did it. He’s obsessed with business podcasts.
“He’s got hoodies, t-shirts and caps. He wanted to create a name that didn’t exist to show that thinking outside the box.

“He wanted to control what that name means in the future.
“Hopefully he can become a well-known brand. He’s playing on the system of being different. He doesn’t follow the crowd.”
William was bullied at school for not following the trends but now he’s got scores of people messaging him about his success.
He officially launched the brand on May 7 from his parents’ garden and orders began flooding in.
Dad-of-one Tom said: “It was his birthday. He launched it in the garden that evening and then all of a sudden his Shopify was buzzing.
“We pretty much nearly sold out of what we had in stock.
“He had money he saved up from birthdays and Christmas and used it to buy stock. But he sold out of stock. We need to create more now for the next range.
“I’m a business owner myself, me and my wife Zoe run a company. He sort of sees us and our work.
“If he wants freedom in his 20s, he needs to create a company. He wants freedom, he loves travelling. He doesn’t want the 9-5 lifestyle.
“He follows Gymshark. He’s in awe of what they’ve created and achieved.
WHAT IS GYM SHARK?
Ben Francis MBE co-founded gym clothing brand GymShark in 2012 at age 19, and the firm is now worth over £1 billion.
The brand, headquartered in Solihull, West Midlands, has been worn by some of the biggest celebrities around the world.
The now-31-year-old fitness enthusiast started out in the garage of his parent’s house, initially with school friend Lewis Morgan, and managed to grow his business to a global empire with over 850 employees.
Before dropping out of Aston University, Francis was also a delivery driver for Pizza Hut but now owns super expensive motorbikes and goes on lavish holidays.
In 2017, he was presented with an award by Sir Richard Branson for being the owner of Britain’s fastest-growing firm.
He was also invited to join ex-prime minister Theresa May‘s Small Business, Scale-Ups and Entrepreneurs Business Council.
“It’d be nice to inspire people who are his age to do something. It’s never been about money. For him it’s about creating the best life he can.”
Tom added: “He literally created everything himself. The only thing I’ve had to do is register the company under my name. He bought the trademark for the name.
“He’s sorted the suppliers out, he’s not making much profit yet but he can see the market.
“I’m learning so much about websites and marketing more than the last 15 years in business.
“He’s been working on the algorithms on social media so he can work it out.
“We’re proud, we haven’t done everything for him. He’s done it all himself, even the money.
“He spent about £3,000 which he saved since he was a baby, he invested it into stock. We’ve motivated and inspired him.
“I’ve got a friend who had a creative studio and a couple guys in Worcester have supercars and he messaged them if he can use their cars for a shoot, and he gave them a free hoodie.
“Based on the numbers we should be on for £30,000 a month, but we might run out of stock. It’s going to be a tough ask.
“Now he’s got money coming in, he’s reinvested every single penny. He’s got 200 designs he wants to create. He’s just going to see where it goes.
“He’s quite blown away the response he’s had. It’d be nice if we can create a job for himself when he leaves school. That’s his dream.”
