Raymond Weil introduces the latest evolution of its Freelancer collection with the Freelancer Skeleton 38mm, marking the first time the brand’s Calibre RW1212 skeletonized movement has been housed in a compact 38mm stainless steel case.
A Focus on Transparency and Detail
The Freelancer Skeleton’s standout feature is its openwork dial, showing off the in-house-developed Calibre RW1212. Designed and manufactured by Raymond Weil, this automatic movement highlights the balance wheel at 6 o’clock, drawing attention to the intricate mechanics beneath the sapphire crystal. The movement features a sunray brushed finish in black ruthenium, lending a modern and dynamic appearance to the design. Adding further character, the skeletonized rotor now features a W-shaped oscillating weight, a signature element unique to the brand.
Balanced Design and Finishing
The watch carefully balances its industrial aesthetics with elegant touches. The blue flange and hands are treated with Super-Luminova, ensuring legibility while adding a sophisticated contrast to the ruthenium bridge and rhodium-plated movement components. Subtle gold accents on the balance wheel and moving parts complete the palette, seamlessly tying together the stainless steel case and bracelet.
Everyday Sophistication
Built for both function and style, the Freelancer Skeleton offers a sleek 10.87mm profile, a 41-hour power reserve, and water resistance up to 100 meters. Its stainless steel bracelet with a double-push security folding clasp is designed for comfort and versatility, making it suitable for both professional and casual wear. A screw-down crown with the RW monogram adds a refined finishing touch.
