Gersh‘s Digital department has appointed Meg Chemburkar to the new position of Head of Affiliate Marketing, the first such role established at a major agency, also promoting seven.
In her new role, Chemburkar will focus on monetizing clients’ social media channels to generate new revenue streams and crafting innovative campaigns with brand partners. She was formerly with leading affiliate marketing platform LTK and brings with her extensive experience across PR, talent representation and digital partnerships, from her previous roles at Ketchum, DBA and TikTok.
Today’s Digital promotees at Gersh include Molly Pitzele, Julia Perez and Zoe Berman to Agent, as well as Juliet Noble, Ariadne Bazigos, Sydney Rosenzweig and Marisa Yocca to Coordinator.
News of Gersh’s staff moves comes five months following its acquisition of the Digital and Alternative departments of the now defunct A3 Artists Agency, in the first major M&A announcement of 2024. The idea has been to expand the roster for a department seen as a key driver of the growth plan the agency has undertaken following an equity investment by Crestview Partners last year.
Gersh’s digital department — overseen by Senior Partner and Head of Digital, Jade Sherman — boasts a diverse roster of top-tier creators, actors, celebrities, athletes and personalities, spanning various platforms and categories. Its core expertise lies in an entrepreneurial approach to optimizing revenue streams for clients through sourcing brand partnerships, diversifying their business ventures, and leveraging their existing content. The department also provides touring support for clients and houses the podcast division.
Since the acquisition of A3’s departments, Gersh has continued to grow its business, expanding its client roster and adding new agents, as well as senior executives in the Business Affairs and Corporate Communications departments.
